My Husband says I Have Changed...

I enjoy the peaceful life which life on the Edge of Nowhere, rural Lincolnshire, affords us. I am quiet, I certainly do not like to draw attention to myself.

This afternoon we visited our local pub, The Railway Tavern, for a really enjoyable talk which was given by the landlord's daughter - Holly. More about that in a future post. George and I were separated - I enjoyed a pleasant chat with Joan, one of our lovely village elderswhile George propped up the bar and enjoyed a chat with Keith, the landlord.

The beer garden was mostly filled with families and walkers, enjoying some September sunshine. There was one table which was different, it had four young men sitting at it. George, it turned out, had chatted with all of them while they were at the bar, discovering that they are recording at the local music studios for the next few weeks. Of course he told me about them when I finally re-joined him, he knows what a newshound I have become since beginning this blog.

Naturally, I had to get my camera out ...purely for blogging purposes you understand. The fact that these four men were young and handsome had nothing to do with it. You can see by the wave that I had been spotted! I went over and said hello asking whether they minded me taking some photographs for my blog. They were charming and immediately shuffled along the bench offering to make room so that I could be photographed with them, which was sweet.

Sadly, I had to decline, I don't do publicity! :-D

However, I am very happy to publicise these young men. They are members of the German band SELIG, which means blessed. According to one item I read about them they are the biggest small band in Germany - here's hoping that their stint at the Chapel Studios in South Thoresby results in some big hits for SELIG.

Best of luck boys - and thank you for being so sweet.
